Worst ever. OK, paid for an Internet order, nothing happened after several days just held my money in limbo so had to claim a refund, however still wanted tackle so based on other reviews placed and paid for a new order to be shipped international 3 day express UPS shipping. After 3 weeks and £20 worth of calls, a lot of stress with UPS because Tackle Direct failed to correct a problem. I now have the order. The delay was due to the parcel being split into 2 parcels and having wrong invoice for over 3 times the actual amount causing a £200 import charge, (more than the tackle) should have been £30. ,also 2 of the three reels looked ex-display with no packaging, Instructions or service stuff ect. When opened one reel was damaged. The damage was prior to posting because bubble wrap would have protected it in transit. (Harness lug bent). The three quality PENN USA manufactured rods I received were actually made in Taiwan. All things considered after me having a 100% Ebay rating of several hundred and various other sales & purchases over the Internet this is the worst ever from over a thousand transactions. On the many times I tried to contact this merchant from there own website, No answer to emails, no response to their message system and no response on live chat after two days of having it on in the PC background, a complete waste of time. I will be finding a new tackle supplier. Having Not had any reply to emails or any reply of any fashion. I can only assume I was far away and restricted by cost to return tackle so it was easy to pass unsalable items onto me. If you thinking of buying tackle, Buy somewhere else. Check if their line of contact works first it dosn't here. Maybe I will receive a refund and cost paid return packaging or two new boxed reels or even a message proving I exist, may be not so just keep the reviews going. Tackledirecttodustbin.com would be a more suitable Co name.
