Drexel ELC, the English Language Center at Drexel University
The English Language Center (ELC) at Drexel University, located in the historic city of Philadelphia, is a great place for international students to improve their English skills and have an enjoyable time in the USA. The ELC offers a year-round intensive English program in academic and general English skills; the year-round GLOBAL Business English program, including company site visits; and summer and winter sessions in the American Life and Language program, for an active learning experience in American language and culture. Students may choose afternoon courses in TOEFL or GMAT preparation, academic English, business English, conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and various other topics. Outside of class, there are parties, lunches, and weekly activities and trips. The ELC is a high-quality school that has earned accreditation from the CEA, the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation.
