illage Paint Supply opened its doors for business on June 6, 1961 on the corner of Mamaroneck Avenue and Spencer Place in Mamaroneck, NY. That location is still in business today. Because of the success of the Mamaroneck Avenue store, and its loyal patrons, Village Paint Supply was able to grow in the community with the opening of the Boston Post Road store in Larchmont on November 10, 1966. Over the course of the next 4 decades, VPS has managed stores in Mount Vernon, NY, which has since been sold, and eventually ventured up the line opening stores in Orange and Putnam Counties with locations in Newburgh, New Windsor and Carmel, NY.
